Afterlife party recalls the numbing experience of being at social events where the room crackles with static of a crowd of somebodies rubbing up against each other as they keep their flashing eyes on 'their' public. In Afterlife Party a plume of smoke rises- it might be cigar smoke of a solitary guest or the smouldering remains of a distinguished life that has been spent pinpoint focussed and magnified on their social standing. They have made their mark and their paper thin words now goes up in smoke.
